What is the process for replacing a boiler?

Step 1 – Contact us for a quote

If you decide to go ahead, we will arrange for a survey to be carried out at a time that suits you best.

Step 2 – Free Survey and personalised plan

Next, one of our assessors will visit your home to perform a survey. The assessor will look at your home to identify the best options to suit your space and needs – which can vary depending on the size and type of home you live in and the condition of your current system. They will then create a personalised plan, discuss the options available to you, answer any questions you may have, and advise the best way to proceed. Our assessors are knowledgeable and professional, so you can be assured that you will receive all the information you need to make the best decision without the pressure of a hard sell.

Step 3 – Decide how you would like to proceed

Once you’ve decided which options you want to proceed with, you will need to consider how you would like to pay for your new boiler and whether you would like to take finance to spread the cost over affordable monthly payments. Finance options include payments as low as £9.99 a month, no deposit and 0% interest options.

Once all this is decided, it’s time to book your boiler installation.

Step 4 – Book your boiler installation

A typical boiler installation takes 1-3 days to complete, so bear this in mind when booking your installation. Our customer service team will be happy to discuss engineer availability to find the most convenient time for you.

Once a date is confirmed, we’ll also let you know about any preparation that might need to be done before our team arrive.

Step 5 – Our expert installers will fit your new boiler

Our engineers will arrive at your house at the time agreed to begin the installation. They will do their utmost to ensure there is minimal disruption to you while they are with you and will leave no mess during the process.

Firstly, we will remove your old boiler – this will be disposed of on your behalf. Next, we will flush your system to remove any debris, which will allow your new boiler to work to its full potential. If any changes to pipework need to be made, these will be done. Then your new boiler will be installed.

Once installed, your new boiler will be commissioned to ensure it is up and running correctly. Your engineer will then run through basic usage instructions with you, and finally, your boiler will need to be registered to ensure the warranty is activated.

Step 6 – Ongoing care

All of our boilers come with a warranty valid for up to 12 years, but to keep your boiler in tip-top condition and to ensure ongoing safety, we recommend servicing it yearly. If you don’t want to pay upfront, we offer a selection of monthly service plans here.
